The Henry Ford: Located just ten minutes from Allen Park, The Henry Ford (also known as the Henry Ford Museum and Greenfield Village) is a large indoor and outdoor history museum complex and a National Historic Landmark that offers an incredible number of amazing things to see and do. Some of the “must see” exhibits include JFK’s presidential limousine, Abraham Lincoln’s chair from Ford’s Theatre, the Rosa Parks bus and the Wright Brothers’ bicycle shop.

Uniroyal Giant Tire: Allen Park is home to the Uniroyal Giant Tire that was originally created for the 1964 New York World’s Fair where it served as a Ferris wheel. Situated alongside I-94, the giant tire is an incredible 86 feet tall and weighs a massive 11 tons. It is the biggest non-production tire scale model ever built and one of the largest roadside attractions in the entire world.

Michigan Science Center: Located less than 2 miles from Allen Park city center, the Michigan Science Center (previously known as the Detroit Science Center) is a very popular local attraction that offers something for everyone. With its live stage shows, an IMAX Dome theater, 250+ hands-on exhibits and much more, there is always something new to see and learn.
